IUS, İstanbul Ticaret Odası ile Ülke Analizi Projesini Başarıyla Uyguladı

In cooperation with the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce, the International University of Sarajevo has completed a project on country analysis, which included Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro. We would like to express our gratitude to Dr. Emel Topcu, Dr. Muhidin Mulalić, Dr. Edib Smolo, Dr. Dženita Šiljak, Dr. Senad Bušatlić, Dr. Mehmed Ganić, Dr. Šejma Aydin, Dr. Mirsad Karić, Dr. Jahja Muhasilović and Dr. Šemsudin Plojović, for their contributions to the preparation of the project.

On June 3, 2022, the project was presented before the Chamber's Executive Board members, the President of the Executive Board Mr. Şekib Avdagiç, and a delegation of more than 200 eminent businessmen from Turkey.

The project highlights the relationship between political stability and economic growth and development in a particular country. Purposefully selected experts in the field have provided a brief country-by-country political and economic assessment by considering current trends, challenges and issues. The project has explored economic growth sustainability by considering macroeconomic stabilization and structural reforms. This valuable project will enable policy-makers, investors and practitioners to assess and interpret political and economic trends in these countries in terms of country’s economic and political risks. Therefore, each country analysis on economic transitions examines the general macroeconomic situation, trade exports and imports, capital flows, external debt, labor market, prices, monetary policies, fiscal, monetary and trade policies, developments and structural reforms. Furthermore, political trends in a particular country examine the system of governance, political structures, institutions and political actors.

The experts in the fields of economics and political science provided excellent political and economic assessments and recommendations that will enable policy-makers, scientists, investors and practitioners to assess and interpret current political and economic trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro.
