Faculty of Business and Administration Professors on Erasmus+ Exchange in Bulgaria

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Senad Bušatlić and Assist. Prof. Dr. Ognjen Riđić of the Management study program, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmed Ganić of the Economics study program at the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) were on exchange at the University of Economics in Varna, Bulgaria, from May 4 – 12, 2017.

FBA professors were selected among other candidates to represent IUS in the Erasmus+ exchange program that was successfully realized with the reputable Bulgarian university. University of Economics in Varna was established in 1920, and is among the best universities in Bugaria in the field of economics. Varna is also a prominent center of Bulgarian economy, a great sea port at the cost of Black Sea, and a large university center.

During their stay, IUS professors gave several lectures to the economics and management students on various topics as experts in their respective fields. The lectures were attended by Bulgarian students and foreign students from Europe and other parts of the world, who were at the time on exchange in Varna.

This was the third visit of IUS staff to this university. Five professors have already participated in the exchange, as well as one International Relations student of IUS. The exchange was supported and coordinated by the International relations office of IUS, as a result of a grant that IUS received after memorandum signing in February 2015.
